I recently stayed at Ethno Lodge Ab in Montenegro for a few days and it was the best accommodation I had during my trip. The chalet was stunning and had all the amenities I needed, including a fantastic rain shower, air conditioning, and a modern kitchen. The breakfast provided was absolutely phenomenal. The grandparents who owned the property were incredibly warm and friendly. The location, although outside of Virpazar, was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Having a car was useful to explore the area, and the property had a secluded parking area.
Can definitely recommend this hotel.

Featuring stunning mountain views and a terrace, this hidden gem in Virpazar is like waking up in a fairytale. The air-conditioned chalets, made completely of the finest wood, offer a cozy and rustic atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. With a private balcony overlooking the lush garden, it's the perfect spot to relax and sip your morning coffee. The equipped kitchen allows you to whip up a delicious meal, just like a master chef in your own castle. The free WiFi ensures you stay connected, while the flat-screen TV provides entertainment after a long day of hiking and cycling. And let's not forget the highlight - the garden! It's an enchanting oasis where you can truly connect with nature and find peace.
Limited number of chalets.

The location of the lodge was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Being away from the city noise allowed me to truly relax and unwind. The hosts, especially the elderly couple, were incredibly friendly and accommodating despite their limited English. They made sure we were comfortable and even arranged a boat tour of the nearby national park and lake, which was a fantastic way to explore the area. The fish from the lake served at the lodge was simply delicious, a tasty treat for seafood lovers.
One downside of the cabin was that it felt quite dark inside. The lack of natural light made the space feel a bit gloomy.

I recently stayed at a beautiful lodge in a scenic location. The furnishings and decor were of a high standard, and the lodge was clean upon arrival. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even arranged a fabulous boat trip on the lake for us, which was spectacular. The gardens were beautiful and well-tended, and we appreciated the fresh fruit bowls brought by Aleksandar's grandparents. it was a wonderful experience and the lodge exceeded our expectations.
Nothing that I didn't like.

I had the most wonderful stay at this lovely chalet near Skadar lake. The accommodations were exceptional, with a clean and spacious room that had all the necessary amenities. It was evident that the owner's grandparents took great pride in maintaining the property, as everything was in great condition. The family's attention to detail was impressive, even vacuuming the boat after each use. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the communication with the owner was excellent. It truly is a hidden gem near Skadar lake.

The hosts, an elderly couple, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, despite their limited English. The apartment was new and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The peaceful and well-maintained garden added to the overall charm. The highlight of my stay was the delicious fish from the lake and the private boat tours offered by the hosts' grandsons. The chalet we stayed in was lovely, with beautiful surroundings and a cozy atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided each morning, it was more than enough to keep us fueled for the day. Plus, the location was perfect for our romantic escape, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas.
Although the location was ideal for us, it may not suit everyone as it is a bit of a distance from the town center. It took us about 20 minutes to walk into town, which wasn't a problem for us but may be a deterrent for others.

We had an amazing stay at this lodge. The staff was fantastic and the service was great. The owner, Aleksandar, was very attentive and kept in touch with us throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. The lodge itself was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. We loved the location, as it was within walking distance of a beautiful town with great restaurants and a lovely view of the water. The breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful, with most of the ingredients coming from the property itself. Additionally, the lodge offered parking and organized transportation for us, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area.
Nothing, all excellent.

I had an amazing time staying at this charming lodge surrounded by beautiful vineyards and fruit trees. The lodge itself was clean, modern, and spacious, providing all the comfort I needed. The owner, Aleksandar, was incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations for local activities and even organizing a boat trip for me on Lake Skadar. Despite the language barrier, his grandparents, who manage the lodge, were lovely and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful town of Virpazar, with its scenic waterfront and delightful restaurants. I highly recommend this lodge for a memorable and friendly stay.

The location was perfect, right near a beautiful lake and surrounded by nature. It was so peaceful and serene, the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations. Lastly, the chalet itself was cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
From the pictures, I had envisioned a larger area with more options for small wooden houses. However, there were only two houses and a larger main house where the owners lived.
